Your ship now grows with you in every way. A well-built top ship fires from much farther away, sails and accelerates much faster and turns tighter than a freshly bought hull.
To make room for it, the skill tree gained a new page, Trim and Lookout, with speed, acceleration, turning and range. Sights, figureheads, sails and keels got stronger, and the ship sheet now shows acceleration and turning.
Enemy ships keep pace with the sea they live in: the deeper into the map, the harder they answer.
And the Kraken was rebuilt from hull to sails: four masts, red sails and tentacles.
