Treasure and voyages

Treasure maps, the diver, shipwrecks, the whirlpools that cut across the sea and expeditions for the ships sitting in port.

Treasure maps

Each treasure map is made of 4 pieces. They come from treasure chests (bronze, silver and gold) and from diving, and they never expire, so hang on to them until the set is complete. From level 5, a finished map takes you alone to a hidden cove, with waves of enemies at your level, guardians at the end and a rich chest for whoever survives. There are 4 maps, from easiest to hardest:

  • Mapa rubro: 4 waves and 1 guardian; the final chest holds 9,000–13,500 gold and may hold the Canhão Rubi.
  • Mapa azul: 5 waves and 1 guardian; the final chest holds 18,000–24,000 gold and may hold the Lançador Safira.
  • Mapa verde: 6 waves and 2 guardians; the final chest holds 30,000–39,000 gold and may hold the Canhão Esmeralda.
  • Mapa dourado: 7 waves and 3 guardians; the final chest holds 48,000–60,000 gold and may hold the Lançador Topázio.

You have 12 min to finish, and every wave you beat pays gold and ammunition on the spot. If you sink or leave, the map is used up, but whatever the waves paid is yours to keep. The rare map weapons aren't sold anywhere, and they join the Workshop's diamond tree (see the ship guide).

Mapa do naufrágio

The Mapa do naufrágio works differently. Instead of waves and guardians, you face 4 min of enemies pouring in non-stop across a graveyard of hulls, getting stronger every minute. Whoever is still afloat at the end takes the chest, with 24,000–33,000 gold and guaranteed diamonds. Its pieces only come from diving.

The diver

The diver goes down to sunken hulls and comes back with gold, materials, items and map pieces. Red map pieces turn up the most, and wreck map pieces only come from here. You get 1 free dive a day, extra dives cost 20 diamonds, and you can dive 5 times in one go. Treasure chests also bring the Fôlego extra, a free dive you can save for whenever you like.

Whirlpools

Four whirlpools connect far-off corners of the world: Arquipélago das Conchas, Ilhas do Cravo, Passagem dos Alísios and Mata das Brumas. Sail into one's circle while out of combat and jump to another, as long as you've already sailed the sea you're heading to.

You pay for the jump in Concha do Redemoinho. It's 1 shell to the next whirlpool, 3 for two away and 6 for three, following the order above, in either direction. Shells drop from sea chests (a 10% chance in each) and cost 1 diamond in the shop.

When you arrive, you get 10 s of mist and stay invisible until you fire your first shot.

Expeditions

Ships sitting in port can earn their keep too. As soon as you own a second hull, the ones you aren't using can go on expeditions from the harbor's Harbor Office (Capitania). The ship you command never goes. The others always come back, with zero risk, carrying gold, ammunition and battle items.

There's one destination per region: Cabotagem da Lanterna, Travessia das Marés, Rota das Especiarias and Volta dos Confins. Each one opens once you've been to any sea in that region. Gold goes up with the level of the hull you send, up to the destination's cap, and eight hours away earns about as much as 20 minutes of hunting.

  • 1 slot from level 1
  • 2 slots from level 20
  • 3 slots from level 35
  • Terminar agora (finish now): 1 diamond for every 10 min left.
  • Recall: free, but the ship comes back empty-handed.

Sending, collecting and finishing can only be done in port. The reward is drawn when the ship leaves and shown when you collect.
